ATMA BASIC
Module 1 (M1)
General objectives
- Knowing the techniques included in ATMA SPA® and reaping the benefits that practicing this technique provides internally and externally, by giving and receiving.
- Integrating the basic aspects to considered as an WBW facilitator.
- Learning a basic sequence of movements to carry out a session.
- Create the basis from which you can continue exploring the potential of this aquatic experience.

- People who want to have fun discovering an exciting aquatic technique which they can share with others.
- People interested in learning more about water bodywork.
- People interested in finding a new way of getting in touch with themselves, with water and with others.
- People interested in living an exceptional experience of growth and learning in a group.
- People who want to do the professional ATMA SPA® training.
General contents
- WBW, theoretical introduction. (M1)
- Essential aspects for a correct practice.
- Listening and contact. (M1)
- Characteristics of movement in the liquid element. (M1)
- Floating and returning, beginning and ending a session. (M1)
- Basic sequence of movements on the surface.
- Basic sequence of movements underwater.
- Free flow. (M1)
- WBW, more than a technique.
Duration/Levels
M1 features a total of 60 hours of training divided into:
- Level 1, Water Relax = 20h
- Level 2, Water Massage = 20h
- Level 3, Underwater Massage = 20h
Requirements to pass the level
To make level 1:
- None
To make level 2:
- Having done level 1
To make level 3:
- Having done level 2
Conditions of the group
- Groups of 6 to 18 people.
- Mixed groups. (People at different levels of training)
Teaching materials
- Manual with the theoretical information of the corresponding level being enrolled.
- Video-manual with the movement sequence demonstrated during the course.
Accreditation
- Certificate of participation of the course issued by the ATMA Training Institute™ and valid for continuing the WBW training from ATMA SPA®.
- Certificate of completion of the course after finishing the 3 levels of M1.
At the end of this training
- You will have integrated the theoretical and practical skills to perform a basic WBW session.
- You will have the perfect base from which to continue learning and exploring the possibilities offered by water body work and the element of water.
- You will have the ability to carry out sessions as an amateur facilitator.
